Cloud Security for the New FSI Ecosystem

June 8, 2022

10:00 - 11:30 MYT

The way we bank today is vastly different from how we banked 5 years ago. Open banking regulations around the world created a new FSI ecosystem where Fintechs, established banks and hybrid players are all entering the market to create a much more accessible and seamless experience for the customers. Speed is of the essence as FSI and Fintechs thrive on agile development, innovation and time-to-market to gain edge in a highly competitive market landscape. This also means the possibility of security getting side-lined in favour of speed and ambitious growth targets, exposing the companies to growing cyber risks. As we move to the cloud and open up our APIs to join this new FSI ecosystem, we create unprecedented risk for our organisations. A cybersecurity strategy that balances security with speed, agility and cost is the key. The fireside chat will explore real world challenges and solutions on how to secure platforms built on cloud to cater to the modern workloads.
