Extending his expertise to IBM Research, Ritesh has built ground-breaking products that have been deployed into many industries. Combined with his role as an executive with PWC running large cyber consulting programs and the global CISO of one of the world’s largest mining companies, Ritesh has the unique experience to see a cybersecurity challenge from the lens of a practitioner, an innovator and a business leader.

Currently the Bureau Director of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) – Cybersecurity Bureau. Former President of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP). Currently the President of the International Electrotechnical Commission – National Committee of the Philippines, an organization representing the Philippines in international standardization activities in the field of electrical, electronics, and information and communications technology (ICT).
He graduated from the Mapua Institute of Technology and from the Pamatasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and Master’s in Business Administration respectively. He has finished his certificate program in Cybersecurity from the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, in Germany.
He was currently included in the roster as ASEAN Engineer and a Professional Electronics Engineer with PECE # 19.
