Fong Tuan leads people’s strategy, practices and policies to accelerate a transformative, purpose-driven workforce. He is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD, UK and a qualified professional engineer, holding an honours degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, an MBA in Organizational Behaviour and a CFA. He is currently a Doctoral candidate researching on the reliability of quantitative correlation between psychometric traits with success profiles. He started his career with Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia’s power utility company, where he was a scholar, subsequently leading and holding senior HR leadership roles for global MNCs and blue-chip corporations: Coca Cola, Watson Wyatt, British American Tobacco, Maybank Group, B. Braun, Samsung and most recently, Berjaya Corporation to name a few. He has been personally recognized with the following: HR Icon 2023 -100 Top HR Leaders in SEA, 40 Most Influential HR Leaders in SEA 2022 and HRM Asia Watchlist 2018.

For the past 21+ years I’ve developed a strong pedigree in Cloud Solution Advisory, HR Consulting and Customer & Partner Connects and Relationship while working across the US, UK, Middle East, APAC and India; I now contribute to Oracle’s HCM Cloud business across JAPAC region.

Starting out as a On-Premises Consultant, I’ve tracked through a variety of roles, including product & brand management, leading implementation & Cloud Adoption teams, heading up Client and Partner relationships and most recently, leading Oracle’s HCM Partner Enabling and Cloud Competency across ASEAN (Primarily MY and ID).

I have a passion for working with large multi-cultural teams and providing leadership to tackle and resolve complex challenges. Saqib Sabah is the head of applications at Oracle for Malaysia, Indonesia and the South Asia Growth Economies (SAGE). In this role, he is responsible for leading and driving growth for the enterprise applications business in Oracle in those territories. He brings over two decades of experience working with enterprises in the region to support their business transformation in the digital and cloud era. Prior to this, he has held leadership roles in SAP and Teradata.

Virdi is leading Oracle HCM’s JAPAC Solution Consulting arm, based out of Singapore.  In his current role, he is responsible for providing advisory to C-suite around HCM and ERP digital transformations, and helping organisations bridge the gap between their people strategy and technology interventions.  Internally within Oracle, Virdi’s remit is to influence and shape Oracle HCM’s thought leadership, strategy, execution and customer success across JAPAC.

Prior to joining Oracle in 2017, Virdi was a Senior Manager in Accenture, responsible for ASEAN SuccessFactors P&L and HCM strategy and consulting leadership.  Overall, Virdi brings along nearly 2+ decades of HCM strategy, consulting, change management, transformation and program delivery expertise.

Virdi hails from a Computer Science Bachelors background with Masters in Human Resources, and Masters in Labour Law & Welfare education credentials.
